These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the services of Priority Care, PC ("Priority Care," "we," "us"), including our website at melissajonesdo.com and our text message (SMS) and email communications. By using our website or opting in to our messages, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Program Description

If you opt in, Priority Care may send you text messages and emails. These may include appointment confirmations and reminders, membership and enrollment updates, lab result notifications, practice announcements, and occasional promotional messages about our services. How often we message you will vary.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use this website or join our messaging program. If you are under 18, please do not opt in or submit information through this site.

3. Consent to Receive Messages

When you give us your mobile number and opt in, you agree that Priority Care may send text messages to that number, including through automated systems. Agreeing to receive messages is not required to buy any service or become a member.

4. How to Opt Out

You may stop text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by texting STOP to [Practice Phone Number]. We will send one final text confirming you are unsubscribed, and then no further texts. To stop emails, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email. Opting out of marketing messages does not end your membership.

5. Opting Back In

If you change your mind, you can rejoin by opting in again the same way you first signed up, or by replying START.

7. Message Frequency and Rates

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply to messages you send and receive. Questions about your text or data plan should go to your wireless carrier.

8. Carrier Disclaimer

Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Not Medical Advice; Emergencies

Information on this website and in our marketing messages is general education, not medical advice for you. Visiting the site, submitting a form, or receiving our messages does not create a doctor–patient relationship. That relationship begins only after you enroll as a member and are accepted by Priority Care. Do not use text messages, email, or website forms for emergencies. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Members should use the communication channels described in their membership agreement for clinical questions with Dr. Jones.

10. Direct Primary Care Membership

Priority Care is a direct primary care practice. A membership is not health insurance and does not cover hospital care, emergency care, specialists, imaging, or other services outside Priority Care. We recommend keeping insurance or other coverage for those needs. In North Carolina, direct primary care agreements are not regulated as insurance (N.C. Gen. Stat. § 58-3-4).

Enrollment is completed through our online enrollment platform (Atlas.md). Your membership is governed by the membership agreement you sign at enrollment. Employer-sponsored memberships are also governed by the employer's agreement with Priority Care. If these Terms conflict with a membership or employer agreement, that agreement controls.

Prices for memberships, wholesale labs, and other services shown on this website may change. Current pricing is confirmed at enrollment.

11. Privacy

Your use of our website and messaging program is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Health information we receive as your provider is protected under HIPAA and described in our Notice of Privacy Practices. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text opt-in consent with third parties for their marketing.

Our website uses analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site. Please do not submit personal health details through general website contact forms.

12. Use of This Website

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to access it without permission, or interfere with its operation. The site's text, logo, and design belong to Priority Care and may not be copied for commercial use without our written permission.

Patient reviews shown on our site come from public Google reviews and reflect individual experiences; results vary. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

13. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

This website is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate and available but do not guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent allowed by law, Priority Care is not liable for damages arising from your use of the website or messaging program. This section does not limit any duty of care we owe you as a member and patient.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here with a new "Last Updated" date.
