Dr. Melissa brings a blend of global medical experience and deep local heart to her patients. Her journey began with a biology degree from Millsaps University, followed by her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from Kansas City University. Attracted to the Carolinas, she completed her family medicine residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte and spent a month delivering vital medical care with Samaritan’s Purse in Kenya.
A Charlotte resident for nearly a decade, Dr. Melissa fully embraces her community. Outside the clinic, she is usually riding her bike through local neighborhoods or hiking the trails of the Evergreen Nature Reserve with Roscoe, her Mini Australian Shepherd.
Dr. Melissa is a passionate advocate and community builder. She is an active member of the Plaza Midwood Merchants Association, the founder of two local book clubs, and a dedicated champion for Transgender Rights. Through both her practice and her community leadership, she is honored to be a steadfast partner in your health.

Born and raised in the Charlotte area, Jordan brings a warm, community-first energy to the practice. After completing her studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill ("Go Heels!"), she dedicated herself to a career centered around connection.
When Jordan isn't helping patients feel at home in her care, she stays busy with a variety of vibrant hobbies such as traveling and exploring the great outdoors or crafting. In fact, she designs and creates her own custom jewelry, donating the majority of her pieces to local Charlotte non-profits where her creations directly support organizations that provide women with the clothing and accessories, they need to feel confident during job interviews/pivotal life events.
In her role supporting Dr. Melissa, she is fully committed to ensuring every patient enjoys a positive, uplifting experience.
